March 8, 2006 - Christine Miccucci and Amy Koppe, both '09 and elementary education majors at the Lynch School of Education at Boston College teach a lesson on telling time to 2nd graders at the Holy Family School. Said Thomas (foreground), "my regular teacher's better but they are different for a change at least." LSOE sponsors a trip to the Holy Family School annually in order to raise funds for the underprivileged school and help rebuild the dilapidated areas of the school. Students are given the opportunity to teach for one day; however, the issue with the school is not the quality of teaching (student's name changed for privacy)
